Mission
502(c)ity.org mission is to preserve the unique cultural and historical heritage towns coast-to-coast along the U.S Route highway systems established in the United States. This is to be done by establishing (regional) 501(c)Heritage Museums and educational facilities .The goal also includes assisting in the development of roadside parks, rest areas, and visitor centers. 501(c)ity.org is dedicated to the preservation and to the economic well being of all entities along forgotten paths of rural America . The city's and towns that were left behind or forgotten about by construction of new interstate highway system or by economic decay . As their population's dwindle they run risk of loosing city/town incorporation and the cohesion that hold the communities together. Organizing a non profit group may again incorporate the communities into a body that retains characteristics , cultural, historic events that make them unique . With this site we hope to be your top source for 501(c ) information. We also hope to be an interactive exchange of interesting stories and and experiences This mission will be accomplished through educational and charitable activities that improve the quality of life by preserving and enhancing the rural, small town characteristics of the area while building on its natural, cultural, historic, and human resources.

  • By establish a public outreach program, forum discussion's group , and web development programs.
  • By encouraging High school and college students to participate in the development and operation of the communities threw intern programs . Developing future leaders and workers carry out longterm goals. This will include, but not be limited to, historical research, reporting on community activities and projects, interviews, and assisting with special events.
These activities and projects are expected to have the added benefit of providing economic stimulus by building on the existing tourism base in the community and increasing the attractiveness . These projects are also intended to serve as models that can be used to assist other communities across the country.
